The most interesting part is that this statistic does not include coffee that is consumed at home. The average American person spends nearly $1,100 on buying drinks from places like Starbucks every year. And as prices rise that average dollar amount will go up.
New York’s Best Coffee?
Apparently geography has a significance when it comes to consumption, according to a news report published in 2012 the Northeastern states in the US spend the most annually, which is not surprising considering that New York is the city that never sleeps!
